Corner Store Food, Plated Fancy
One of my earliest visual articles for The Bold Italic was an attempt to spoof all the gorgeous food photos I saw in magazines and online. I asked my roommate, a chef, to create beautiful, perfectly plated dishes entirely out of ingredients we bought at our corner store.
